What is Lamplight?
Lamplight is a free three week summer program where teens practice leadership and service by running the camp themselves and doing projects for their community. Along the way, campers learn real-world skills and how to live together as a community. Lamplight runs two separate sessions. The first of the year is in June in Birmingham and the second is in Guntersville in July.
What We Do
We turn teenagers into camp directors, mediators, entrepreneurs, and unlicensed contractors… into whoever they want to be.
